KYC (Know Your Customer) Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

This KYC (“Know Your Customer”) policy describes the information we ask our customers for and the checks we may carry out to prevent fraud, identity theft and money laundering.

1. Information requested with every order

For every order, we ask for your first and last name, email address, phone number, country and, for items, your shipping address. This information must be accurate and relate to you personally.

2. Checks carried out by payment providers

Mobile Money accounts and bank cards are subject to their own identification procedures by operators, banks and PayDunya. Every payment is approved by the holder of the payment method (PIN on the phone, bank authentication).

3. Enhanced checks

We may ask you for proof of identity (ID card, passport, CIP card) or any additional document, in particular in case of:

  • an unusually large order;
  • inconsistent information (name, country, phone number, payment method);
  • multiple or failed payment attempts, or use of several different payment methods;
  • a refund request to an account other than the one used for payment;
  • a report or suspicion of fraud.

4. Refusal of checks

If you refuse to provide the requested information or if it does not remove the doubt, we may suspend or cancel the order and, where applicable, the associated account. Amounts paid are then refunded to the original payment method, subject to our legal obligations.

5. Protection of documents

Documents provided are used only for these checks, stored securely for 10 years in accordance with anti-money-laundering regulations, and processed under our Privacy Policy & GDPR.
